We have been taught throughout our lives that God is in charge and Nature is just one of his creations, but what if it’s Nature that’s in charge and God is just a product of Nature? Suppose God is just the name we have given to that small part of Nature with which we interact daily? Could that be why everyone feels that they have their own personal God? Why your God says one thing and someone else’s God says something else? Why your God supports your sports team and your opponent’s God supports his?
The part of Nature that controls what happens in China or Russia for instance has little or nothing to do with your life in your own small community. What Nature does in the stars and planets throughout the universe has little or nothing to do with what happens to you on a daily basis does it? Maybe God is just that subset of Nature that impacts your life and yours alone.
